Christmas

Not to worry...there were presents for the twins at Christmas as well. A new diaper genie, cool messenger style diaper bag, a sling, another bouncey seat, a small "soother" that will work as a second swing, a Baby Einsteins tunnel and interactive playset and some swaddling blankets and other misc items.

The collection of baby boy stuff is starting to grow. Now I just need to find time to go through the bins of baby stuff that we already have and get the stuff out that isn't pink.

OMG - It's 2 Boys!

We will have 2 boys joining the Connelly family this spring. Here are some of their pictures from today. There is an A or B in the top-left of the photo to note which twin is pictured. Twin B was more cooperative and even waved to us. You will notice that Twin A is facing a different direction in one of the photos - he did a lot of turning around during the procedure. Both of them started head-up at the beginning and at the end we could see the bottom of their feet together. At least I know I am not imagining all of their busy moving about in there.

Week 18 Check-up

All was well at my prenatal check-up today. Despite my stomach flu, I managed to put on a couple of pounds this month. The babies heartbeats were very different, so we definitely heard both of them today. Ultrasound this Friday where we should find out how they are growing and developing and hopefully find out if they are girls or boys.

I finally scanned the ultrasound pictures. These are from the day we found out that we are having twins.

Ready for Next Year

I stopped in Babys-R-Us Saturday morning and was able to get these fantastic baby costumes for just $3.50 each. So the twins will be ready for Halloween next year.

Two Babies

We received such a surprise at our early ultrasound. We were there to see one healthy heart beating and instead there were 2. My first thought was, "Oh my God - There's Two Babies!".

Since then we have gotten over the initial shock and are making plans for two new additions to our family. Juliana seems to like the idea of the new babies and helping take care of them. I'm sure she will not be so happy when she finds out how much time they take from Mommy.

Our second ultrasound is scheduled for early December, hopefully we will find out if we are having more girls, boys, or one of each.
